Renovation of two office buildings into a luxury boutique hotel.

Colliers Project Leaders was retained by Chicago-based Oxford Capital as the project manager for this complex project, consisting of the gut renovation of two turn-of-the-century office buildings.

The existing 11-story Blake Building located at 59 Temple Place was constructed in 1908 and features a historic terra cotta façade. The adjacent Amory Building located at 501 Washington Street was constructed in 1904. These historic buildings, which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, feature different structural and envelope systems, and are undergoing a complete historic rehabilitation and conversion into the Godfrey Hotel Boston, a luxury boutique hotel.

The project is making use of both federal and state Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits, and the complexity of this rehabilitation project is compounded by the presence of two interconnected buildings with different structural systems.
