With a total building footprint of 123,000 sq. ft., this was the first time the province hired professional project management services to deliver the facility. Our team worked as the dedicated owner’s representative with oversight and coordination for all aspects of the planning, design, and construction processes, in collaboration with Holy Family Home, Manitoba Health, and other major stakeholders. We added value by including operational readiness services, a critical component to ensure preparedness leading up to opening day. We successfully led the project team through significant construction challenges that come with an operational long-term care facility. Infection control and health and safety standards were paramount to ensure the safety of residents, staff, visitors, and construction workers.
