Operating a world-renowned motorsports venue.
Spread over 400 acres, YMC has a large built-up area with over 48 building facilities and several kilometers of racing tracks to maintain and operate. To keep the facility in top condition, Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management initiated a defects program composed of complex and interdependent projects intended to maintain building facilities throughout their design life span and remedy any issues. MHPM_Driver was retained to lead the most technically challenging projects within the Civil and MEP disciplines. Projects managed included: grandstand building entrance settlements, rectification of delaminated concrete structures, ground water monitoring study, pumping tests prior to dewatering solutions, rehabilitation and re-instatement of intumescent paint for Shams Tower structural steel exoskeleton, re-insulation of chilled water pipelines, survey and rectification of Building Management System, and rectification of the F1 track surface.
