Berkshire School Various Projects

Constructing value within the community.

Colliers Project Leaders was engaged to provide project management services for multiple projects on behalf of the Berkshire School. Projects have included:

• Godman Dormitory: Interior renovation of the existing $2.3 Million, 20,000 square foot residence hall.
• Geier Library: Renovation of the $8.8 Million Geier Library which included the general interior upgrades and temporary relocation of library stacks.
• Buck Dormitory: Renovation of the 12,000 square foot existing residence hall which includes the complete renovation of two faculty apartments and bathrooms as well as new finishes, code & life safety upgrades and the general renovation for all other interior and exterior spaces.
• New Squash Courts: The expansion, renovation and campus connection of the Gym and Squash Facility including 10 new squash courts, complete gym renovation, maximization of the current available space for support functions, the modernization of audio-visual components, renovate/modify/replace the existing entrance and create new space for storage and support.

As owner’s project manager, we were responsible for developing a project scope, timeline, and budget. In addition, we performed design reviews at the completion of design development and construction documentation phases. We also reviewed the construction schedule and monitored it for compliance, monitored the flow of information to minimize delays in construction, and met with Berkshire administrators to provide status updates of the project.
