Excellence in water and wastewater.

The reclaimed water plant converts effluent water from the city’s sewage lagoons into unrestricted access to quality water used by Shell in their hydraulic operations and bulk sale. Our team supported the City of Dawson Creek by providing a comprehensive project management plan to manage all phases of the project. One of the biggest challenges that our team faced was modifying the procurement strategy from a single construction contract to a multi-phase approach. We led the management of project approvals, project planning and definition, design management, tendering, construction, commissioning and close-out. Additionally, our team provided comprehensive risk and stakeholder management. The plant received the 2013 BCWWA Excellence in Water and Waste Water Community Award and was one of the first wastewater treatment plants to register under the LEED 2009 NC rating system.
