Building vibrant communities.

Toronto’s Port Lands is considered one of the largest underdeveloped stretches of downtown waterfront in North America. Right now, in an extreme weather event, floodwaters from the Don River would overwhelm portions of the Port Lands, South Riverdale and Leslieville.

A pivotal community project like the PLFPEI is a collaborative effort. Our team is providing program support services to help ensure the project’s successful completion. Our scope of work includes oversight of consultants and contractors where directed, working with Waterfront Toronto staff and partners, and focusing on aspects related to overall program management.

Waterfront Toronto’s Port Lands Flood Protection project will unlock development potential in the Port Lands, serve as a catalyst for investment, and create thousands of jobs in the region.
