The Nines Hotel

Commissioning & quality control inspection of luxury hotel.

On behalf of the property’s asset manager, JP Morgan Asset Management, Colliers Project Leaders was engaged to provide representation and technical review of the renovation of Portland’s The Nines Hotel. The Nines is featured among Starwood Hotel & Resorts’ “Luxury Collection Hotels.” The hotel features 331 luxurious guestrooms, including 13 suites, and provides guests with more than 13,000 square feet of event space, a cutting-edge fitness center, and a club lounge.

We were engaged to provide a peer review of commissioning services, construction quality control inspections, and to facilitate the correction of deficiencies with the facility’s heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems. Services included the review of construction documents, verification of installation and operation of mechanical systems, and identification and documentation of any installation/operation inconsistencies.
