University of Connecticut Werth Family Basketball Champions Center

Project management for over 100 projects across the University’s Storrs campus.

Colliers Project Leaders provided project management services for the University of Connecticut’s $33 Million Werth Family UCONN Basketball Champions Center. The development center provides self-contained practice, strength and conditioning, therapy, teaching, administrative offices, dining facilities, media rooms, and practice courts for the University of Connecticut Men’s and Women’s Intercollegiate Basketball Programs. The Development Center is a 2-story, 76,000 square foot standalone structure located on the west side of Gampel Pavilion.

Our responsibilities included providing project management services during construction administration and construction activities. Our team monitored and documented the contractor performance ensuring that the development center project stayed on schedule and budget. In addition, we maintained University project tracking documents as related to quality control, quality assurance, code inspections, and progress of work for assigned projects.

Colliers Project Leaders has also been engaged to provide project management services for the New 115,000 square foot Engineering & Science Building. In addition, our team has provided project management services on an on-call basis for more than 100 projects across the University of Connecticut Storrs campus.
