Algonquin College DARE District

Ontario’s first Institute for Indigenous Entrepreneurship.

The new DARE District building is home to Ontario’s first Institute for Indigenous Entrepreneurship. With $22M in Strategic Investment Fund support, this is the only SIF-funded project in Ontario to deliver to original program deadline and on-budget. This is in part due to the project management services we provided throughout design and construction. To facilitate the schedule and ensure the College met the aggressive deadline, a Construction Management methodology was used. We worked closely with the City of Ottawa to receive permits on time, and due to the fast-tracked nature of the project, there was limited time for planning. Our team was flexible and supportive in managing the program changes to benefit the College.
