Our team oversaw the delivery of the project through planning, design, construction, and close-out. Our team was responsible for the preparation and release of the RFP for design, supply, and installation of the units. A design-build procurement strategy was based on tight-timelines and a fixed project budget, funded by Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC). Our team prepared monthly reports for the Project Committee, including financial reports for INAC. The inspection of the new homes was completed by the Mushkegowuk Council in conjunction with our field staff. The project was completed six months ahead of the original schedule.
In working with Colliers Project Leaders on the Kashechewan Repatriation Housing Initiative, we found their staff to be very accommodating. We had significant challenges on this project and Colliers Project Leaders were able to promptly respond to project issues and provide outcomes that were fair and amicable to all parties involved.”
